CS Utils Legal
Privacy Policy
CS Utils does not require user accounts and does not allow users to upload content. The service uses Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, and Cloudflare infrastructure as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
CS Utils is developed and operated by CS Utils Team (“CS Utils,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy applies to the CS Utils mobile application for Android, the website located at https://assetscsutils.com, and related services provided through CS Utils.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, collected, used, processed, stored, transmitted, and shared when you use CS Utils.
CS Utils does not require users to create an account, does not provide user profiles, and does not allow users to upload photos, videos, comments, or other user-generated content.
2. Information We Do Not Directly Collect
CS Utils does not directly request or collect:
- Your name, unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting support;
- Your physical address;
- Your phone number;
- Your contacts;
- Your precise GPS location;
- Your photographs or media library;
- Camera or microphone recordings;
- Health or fitness information;
- Biometric information;
- Login credentials;
- User-created content; or
- Full payment-card or bank-account details.
The application does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise device location for its normal operation.
Third-party providers used by CS Utils may independently process limited technical, advertising, transaction, or connection information as described below.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
CS Utils may store certain information locally on your device to provide and maintain application functionality. This may include:
- Application preferences;
- Display and interface settings;
- Privacy and advertising consent status;
- Advertising frequency and cooldown state;
- Supporter reminder display and cooldown state;
- Whether onboarding or informational screens have been completed;
- Cached content metadata;
- Favorited utility lineups;
- Supporter subscription entitlement status; and
- Other technical state necessary for the application to operate.
This information is generally stored on your device using local application storage.
Supporter reminder state is used only to limit how often an in-app Supporter reminder is displayed. This reminder timestamp is not sent to RevenueCat or Google Mobile Ads and is not used to create a user profile.
Local information may be deleted when you clear the application’s storage or uninstall the application. Certain information managed by third-party services may be retained separately according to those services’ policies and legal obligations.
4. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads
The free version of CS Utils may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect, receive, or process information such as:
- Your device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate its general location;
- Advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, where available;
- App Set ID and other device or account-related identifiers where applicable;
- Application interactions, including app launches, taps, ad impressions, ad interactions, and video views;
- Device, application, operating-system, language, and network information;
- Diagnostic and performance information, such as application launch time, crashes or hangs detected by the advertising SDK, and energy usage; and
- Information used to detect fraud, abuse, invalid traffic, and security incidents.
Google may use this information for purposes including:
- Delivering advertisements;
- Measuring advertisement performance;
- Advertising attribution;
- Limiting repeated advertisements;
- Providing personalized or non-personalized advertisements;
- Advertising-related analytics and diagnostics;
- Preventing fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic;
- Maintaining and improving Google’s advertising services; and
- Complying with legal obligations.
Depending on your country, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or served using technical ad-delivery mechanisms.
Google processes information under its own privacy policies and acts independently regarding many aspects of its advertising services.
You can learn more by reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising technologies information, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure guidance.
5. Consent and Privacy Choices
Where required by applicable law, CS Utils uses Google’s User Messaging Platform consent technology to request and record your advertising and privacy choices before requesting advertisements or beginning consent-dependent advertising processing.
Depending on your location, you may be offered choices such as:
- Consenting to personalized advertising;
- Declining personalized advertising;
- Managing advertising vendors and purposes; or
- Receiving non-personalized, limited, or technical advertisements.
Where required and available, you can review or update your choices through the Ad Privacy Choices option in the application settings.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the withdrawal. Certain limited information may still be processed when necessary to provide non-personalized or technical advertisements, prevent fraud, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
You may also control or reset your Android Advertising ID through your Android device settings. Available controls may differ depending on your device manufacturer and Android version.
6. Analytics and Crash Reporting
CS Utils does not currently integrate a separate developer-controlled analytics or crash-reporting service.
In particular, CS Utils does not use standalone services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, Bugsnag, Datadog, Microsoft App Center, or similar tools to track user behavior or transmit crash reports to the developer.
CS Utils does not configure custom analytics events for tracking individual users, screens, utility selections, or usage patterns.
Development logging may occur locally through standard application console logs. These development logs are not intentionally transmitted to us as an analytics or crash-reporting service.
However, Google Mobile Ads may perform advertising measurement, diagnostics, attribution, and related analytics as described in the Advertising and Google Mobile Ads section.
RevenueCat may provide subscription and revenue analytics based on purchase history and subscription events. CS Utils does not currently use RevenueCat to track general screen views, utility selections, or unrelated in-app behavior, and does not send custom RevenueCat customer attributes such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
7. Website, Content Delivery, and Cloudflare
CS Utils uses Cloudflare services, including Cloudflare R2 and Cloudflare’s website and content-delivery infrastructure, to host the website and to store and deliver application content such as:
- Utility information;
- Configuration and metadata files;
- Images;
- Videos; and
- Other static application and website resources.
When your device or browser requests this content, Cloudflare may process technical connection and request information such as:
- IP address;
- Date and time of the request;
- Requested resource;
- Browser, device, or application information;
- Network and connection information;
- Security-related information; and
- Diagnostic or performance information.
This information may be processed to deliver content, improve availability and performance, prevent abuse, protect network security, and troubleshoot technical issues.
CS Utils does not intentionally deploy developer-operated website analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies on the CS Utils website. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies and process technical request data to provide, secure, and operate its infrastructure.
Cloudflare processes information according to its own privacy policy and applicable agreements. You can review the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
8. Support Communications
You may voluntarily contact us at:
When you contact us, we may receive:
- Your email address;
- Your name, when included in your message;
- The contents of your message;
- Technical information you choose to provide;
- Screenshots or attachments you choose to send; and
- Information required to investigate your request.
We use this information to:
- Respond to your inquiry;
- Provide technical or customer support;
- Investigate bugs and application problems;
- Prevent abuse;
- Maintain records of important support matters; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not necessary for resolving your request.
Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain appropriate records, prevent repeated abuse, or comply with legal requirements.
9. CS Utils Supporter, RevenueCat, and Google Play Purchases
CS Utils offers an optional automatically renewing subscription called CS Utils Supporter. An active Supporter subscription removes advertisements and supports the continued development of CS Utils.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment processing under Google’s own terms and privacy policies.
CS Utils uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, verify subscription status, restore purchases, and determine whether CS Utils Supporter benefits should be active. RevenueCat processes subscription and purchase-history information received from Google Play on our behalf.
Because CS Utils does not require a user account, RevenueCat may assign an anonymous App User ID to the application installation. CS Utils does not intentionally set this identifier to your name, email address, Google account, phone number, Advertising ID, or another directly identifying value.
CS Utils does not directly receive or store your full credit card, debit card, bank-account, or other payment-method details.
To initiate, verify, restore, manage, and provide subscription benefits, Google Play, RevenueCat, and CS Utils may process information such as:
- An anonymous RevenueCat App User ID;
- The subscription product and plan selected;
- Purchase history;
- Purchase token, transaction identifier, or related store identifier;
- Store, currency, price, and purchase-related metadata;
- Purchase and acknowledgement status;
- Subscription activation and expiration status;
- Renewal and cancellation status;
- Current Supporter entitlement status;
- Whether a purchase is pending, completed, refunded, revoked, on hold, paused, in a grace period, or expired; and
- Information required to verify and restore purchases.
This information is used to:
- Complete and maintain the subscription purchase flow;
- Activate Supporter benefits;
- Remove advertisements for eligible subscribers;
- Restore an eligible subscription;
- Verify current subscription entitlement;
- Provide subscription and revenue reporting;
- Prevent purchase fraud and abuse; and
- Respond to subscription-related support requests.
The price, billing period, and automatic-renewal information are displayed in the application and by Google Play before purchase confirmation. CS Utils does not currently offer a free trial, introductory offer, or promotional subscription offer unless this is clearly disclosed before purchase. Charges are applied to the Google account associated with the purchase.
Unless cancelled, an automatically renewing subscription renews according to the plan selected through Google Play. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Google Play subscription settings. Uninstalling CS Utils does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
You can review the RevenueCat Privacy Policy for more information about RevenueCat’s processing practices.
10. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We use third-party service providers to operate CS Utils. The primary providers include:
- Google AdMob and Google Mobile Ads, for advertising, consent, measurement, attribution, diagnostics, security, and fraud prevention;
- Google Play and Google Play Billing, for application distribution, subscriptions, transaction processing, licensing, and purchase management;
- RevenueCat, for subscription management, purchase-history processing, entitlement verification, purchase restoration, subscription and revenue analytics, and fraud prevention; and
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, content storage, content delivery, performance, availability, and security.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Advertising-related processing may nevertheless be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar activity under certain privacy laws. Where required, applicable consent or opt-out controls will be provided.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request;
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, CS Utils, or third parties;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
- Complete a business reorganization, transfer, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
11. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis for processing, information may be processed under one or more of the following legal bases:
Consent
We may rely on your consent for personalized advertising, certain advertising measurement, or other processing where consent is legally required. You may withdraw your consent through available privacy controls.
Performance of a Contract
Information may be processed when necessary to provide requested application functionality, complete and maintain a Supporter subscription, restore purchases, or provide support services.
Legitimate Interests
Information may be processed when reasonably necessary to:
- Operate and maintain CS Utils;
- Secure the application, website, and infrastructure;
- Prevent fraud and abuse;
- Deliver application content;
- Diagnose technical problems;
- Respond to support requests; and
- Protect our legal rights.
These interests are considered against the rights and interests of users.
Legal Obligations
Information may be processed or retained when necessary to comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, or law-enforcement obligations.
12. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may depend on:
- The type of information;
- Whether the information is stored locally on your device;
- The purpose for which it was processed;
- Security and fraud-prevention requirements;
- Active support requests;
- Subscription, transaction, accounting, or tax requirements; and
- Applicable legal obligations.
Locally stored application information generally remains until it is deleted by the application, you clear the application’s storage, or you uninstall the application.
CS Utils does not create user accounts, so there is no CS Utils account deletion process. You may request deletion of support correspondence or other personal information directly controlled by us by emailing csutils.support@gmail.com . We may retain information when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, transaction, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Subscription and transaction information controlled by Google Play is retained and handled according to Google’s policies and legal obligations.
Subscription and purchase-history information may also be retained by RevenueCat according to its services, configurations, legal obligations, and privacy policy. You may contact us to request deletion of RevenueCat customer information associated with you where we can reasonably identify and verify the relevant anonymous customer record. Some transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, legal, or dispute-related information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law.
Other third-party providers determine their own retention periods according to their policies, configurations, and applicable law.
13. International Data Transfers
CS Utils and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
As a result, information may be transferred to or processed in countries that have different data-protection laws.
Where required, service providers may use recognized legal mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or other approved transfer mechanisms.
14. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed in connection with CS Utils.
These measures may include:
- HTTPS and encrypted network connections;
- Access controls;
- Limited direct collection of information;
- Use of established infrastructure providers;
- Separation of public application content from administrative systems; and
- Security, abuse-prevention, and fraud-prevention measures.
No electronic transmission, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.
15. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to personal information;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of information;
- Request restriction of processing;
- Object to certain processing;
- Withdraw consent;
- Request data portability;
- Opt out of certain targeted advertising or data-sharing activities; and
- File a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.
Because CS Utils does not maintain user accounts and directly holds limited personal information, we may not be able to identify information associated with a particular user unless you provide sufficient details.
Requests concerning information controlled independently by Google, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, or another service provider may need to be submitted directly to that provider.
To submit a request concerning information controlled by CS Utils, contact csutils.support@gmail.com . We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
16. Children’s Privacy
CS Utils is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly request or directly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to us, contact us at csutils.support@gmail.com . We will review the request and take appropriate action where required by law.
In countries where a higher minimum age applies to consent-based data processing, users below that age should use the application only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
The target-audience selections and advertising configuration used in Google Play Console must remain consistent with this section.
17. Third-Party Advertisements and Links
Advertisements displayed in CS Utils and links provided by the application or website may lead to third-party applications, stores, websites, products, or services.
CS Utils does not control the privacy, security, content, or business practices of those third parties.
When you leave CS Utils or interact with a third-party advertisement or link, the third party’s privacy policy and terms apply. You should review those policies before providing personal information or completing a transaction.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
- Application or website functionality changes;
- New service providers are introduced;
- Advertising or subscription systems change;
- Legal requirements change; or
- We improve or modify our privacy practices.
The updated policy will be published at https://assetscsutils.com/privacy/ with a revised “Last updated” date.
Where required by law, additional notice or consent may be provided for material changes.
